Placing an order with School Prints is simple once you’re set up with the right tools. Follow the steps below to ensure your images are uploaded correctly and your order is submitted without delays.
1. Before You Begin

Create or sign in to your Nations Photo Lab account: Create an account here.

Download and install the School Prints ROES software: Download ROES.
2. Sign In

Open the ROES software.

Enter your Customer ID in the “Account Number” field (you can find this in your Nations Photo Lab account).

Enter your ROES password (same as your Nations Photo Lab account).

Click Sign In to access your catalog.
3. Select Your Catalog

Navigate to the Start Ordering tab in the top menu bar.

Choose the catalog you want to order from.

4. Add Your Images
Image Requirements
Requirement | Details |
File types | .jpg or flattened .tiff (no layers) |
Color mode & profile | sRGB IEC61966-2.1, RGB only (not CMYK) |
Resolution | Minimum 180 dpi; recommended up to 300 dpi |
Filename | Max 25 characters; use only letters, numbers, hyphens (-), or underscores (_) |
How to add images:

Open the image gallery at the bottom of ROES.

Click the green “+” icon to open your computer’s folders.

Select the folder with your images.
-
Drag one or more images into your chosen product or package.
✅ Tip: Always check cropping and layout carefully before continuing.
5. Save Your Work

ROES autosaves orders in progress, but autosave files can be overwritten or lost.

To protect your order, use the Save Cart feature so you can return later without losing your selections.
6. Review & Submit
When your cart is ready, use the panel on the right side to select your options:

Shipping address (residential or commercial)

Package Prints Reference
-
Special instructions
Then click Complete & Send Order to begin checkout.
⚠️ Important: Keep ROES open until your entire order has transmitted. If the software is closed too early, the order may not be received and cannot be processed.
7. After You Submit

You’ll receive an email confirmation with your order number within about 30 minutes.

If you don’t receive it:
-
Check your spam/junk folder.
-
Confirm that ROES remained open during transmission.

8. Troubleshooting
Issue | What to check |
Image won’t drag/upload | Confirm file type, color mode, and filename rules |
Cropping looks off | Preview the layout; use a high-resolution image |
The cart didn’t save | Use the Save Cart button instead of relying on autosave |
No order confirmation email | Ensure ROES was left open; check spam; contact support |
