Import Data from an empty table to use in Events in ROES
4. To input the order data, highlight the Event and click on Subject Info at the bottom right.
5. Three options are available for entering your data. You can import data from a .csv file, create an empty table to use, or create an empty table with preset fields from SP ROES. For this section, choose Import data from a csv file and click Next.
If you're not using an external program to organize the order data, you can enter the data into an empty table in ROES. You can customize the table with any necessary fields. The only required fields for running an event are the image and the package. Let’s start entering our data!
After choosing to use an empty table, the next screen will prompt you to indicate the number of fields needed for the data. For example, if you're working with 4 image files, you should enter 4 in the number of subjects and 2 in the number of fields for each subject.
*Please ensure that the number of subjects corresponds to the number of individuals having their images taken. Additionally, the number of fields for each subject should match the amount of information needed to be entered for each individual (e.g. student name, grade, image package, sport, etc.). Keep in mind that when inputting the data, you have the flexibility to add more subjects and fields to the Event as needed.
Once the subjects and fields are set, click Next. The next window will prompt you to select from your Package Group. Choose Favorites and click Next to continue.
During the next pop-up, you will be asked if you have any images to use in this table. If the photo session has not happened yet, select No, I do not have images at this time and click Next to proceed to the following steps.
The next screen will display your blank data table, showing the number of subjects and fields for each subject entered on the previous slide.
On the data table, under Fields please change cell Field 1 to Image and Field 2 to Package.+
